USA to China and India

It seems number really matters. No country can compete with China and India's massive population of well over 2 billion people. This is a hub for cheap labour and all other factors for factories to thrive. The current financial crisis will cause a little dent in the rapid growth of China and India economic growth. These countries among others have benefited tremendously from migrating factories and businesses from the US and other countries with higher labour cost. The ironic thing is that the man in America that lost his job to migrating businesses will have his spending power diminished, thus he cant buy the goods from the factories that have now set up shop in China and India thus affecting their economies. The labourers in China and India among other countries are now demanding higher wages and there is about to be some "freeing up" on the Chinese currency putting further pressure on their goods but with 2 billion people I don't think these countries have anything to worry about just yet.
The US presidential election candidates are focusing on the working class of America that have been affected by the movement of business from the US to developing countries. They would have to come up with something else because whether it is high tech or low tech the competition from all over the world is so strong we will not see any change in the next ten years.
With the globalisation effect manufacturing companies had no choice but to stay alive by migrating but this will finally take its toll. It cannot continue with out any serious domino effect - we are seeing some of this in the current financial meltdown.

Pirates of the Horn

I heard that the countries of the world are now planning to do something about the pirates on the Horn of Africa who have been creating misery for shippers going through that area. The pirates have been very successful in the capture of vessels and kidnapping of ship crews for ransom. It has been so successful that the intensity of the illegal activity seem to increased ten folds. The rest of the world seem to have been distracted by America Votes, Olympics, Russian hype and the world financial crisis as well as the uncertainty of what to do due to this stupid law of neutral seas.
Well these Somalian guys have not much choices for a decent living and the rest of the world seem to have hoped that it would not get out of hand to the point where they will really do something about it. Despite the presence of American and other countries military ship in the area and top surveillance capabilities these pirates are outfoxing them, or are they? Come on guys don't look stupid do something..
The implications for the lack of action will definitely mean the increased in shipping cost and increase cost to the consumer and a spike in insurance for shipping companies going through that zone. There is no real alternate rout as the trade route affected is between Asia, Europe and east Africa. they can go around south Africa and come up but that will cost us just the same. Ships cant take weapons on vessels either due to international water laws, so lets see what this new initiatives will bring - or will the pirates roam free.

Threat on Obama's Life?

America has had an unfortunate history where a number of its Leaders were killed. The most recent being the assassination of the Kennedy Brothers and there were attemps on the life of President Ronald Reagan.
One of the major reason for General Colin Powell did not for president was the fact that there was a fear of possible assassination. Already we have heard of a number of incidents that points to the direction of a possible assassination for Obama. Officials have found suspicious objects, there are allegations of people shouting at rallies "Kill Him" and of earlier in the year when the republican candidate made a Joke remark that Obama had to dive down because Obama thought someone was aiming at Obama with a gun.
If i was Obama i would be scared because when Americans get krazy ,, they get krazy like that and history has shown they not a fraid of snipping a presidential official especially when there is a dead or alive bid on Osama's head.

If McCain is correct then what?

With only a few days go to the elections the McCain camp is shifting gear to make sure they become the next administration. The hidden tactics appear to slow down the acceleration to the goals of the McCain camp.
But what are these hidden tactics
1. Race Card - Obama is black
2. Religion Card - it is implied and said that he is Muslim
3. Terrorist Card - Obama associates with terrorists?
4. Nationality Card - They say that he is not American
5. Trustworthiness - The camp denies some of the above

But what do you think Obama is going to do if he is elected with all these tags mentioned above?

really ! what is Obama really going to do with what is being implied and said about his character directly in relation to those issues?

what do you think?

Russia on the move

I see that the Russians are about to do something about the pirates off the coast of somalia, are they?

Are they now the new world police?... they are no longer an evil empire?..were they?... whats going on...?
a 20 member crew aboard a Ukrainian ship hijacked recently off Somalia's coast and laden with heavy weapons !

according to yahoo news a spokesman from the U.S. 5th Fleet in Bahrain said the Navy has no information on when the standoff will end but added the U.S. will guard the cargo of the vessel and the welfare of the crew until then.

Six U.S. warships are surrounding the Faina, which was hijacked late last month with 21 crew on board. Officials in Moscow say the ship's Russian captain died of a heart condition soon after the hijacking.

A Russian frigate also is headed toward the standoff.

whats your view....?
